In 2009 there will be an international workshop from 3-11 October for a maximum of 10 independent designers (working on their own productions) from abroad. The results of this workshop will be shown during the 2009 Galata Visibility Days.  Under the name ‘Dutch design Made in Şişhane’ Dutch designers from the international workshop and previous visits will be exhibited at the location of the Union Church on the premises of the Dutch Consulate General in Istanbul between 12 and 16 October.  Also lectures and workshops will be organized in dialogue with Bilgi University and ITU. 

In 2010 the focus will be on developing a design center for Şişhane where (products from) the district is/are promoted and creative people that would like to find workshops can get information. There will be workshops that focus on how to brand the district as a hub for creative production.

In 2012 it will be celebrated that Holland and Turkey have 400 years of diplomatic relations and we have the plan to approach Phillips to sponsor some light related project (in public space) in Tunel, Galata and Sishane.
